| El Borrego Cimmaron 14" high Edition: 12 Price: contact artist clay to be cast in bronze |
| "El Borrego Cimmaron" means the "red sheep" in Spanish. Doyle's sculpture of a Desert Bighorn Ram is modeled after a sheep that was native to the rugged
Tres Virgines Mountains of Mexico. This sculpture depicts the Desert Bighorn as the proud, rugged survivalist that the species is.
Doyle has dedicated this sculpture to his father, George H. Glass, who died of cancer in 1997. Doyle's father was a hunter and wildlife conservationist. The piece is available in traditional french brown patina or in the variations depicted here. |
